North Korean New Industry; Nuclear Weapons Exporting?

Will the nuclear weapons testing in early October of 2006 in North Korea become a new weapons exporting industry for that nation? It is well-known in intelligence circles, the State Department and the United States Pentagon that North Korea has enough plutonium to make 5 Nuclear Bombs. Does this escalating problem signal a failure of International Community, as North Korea's nuclear test underground registered an earthquake of 3.5 on the Richter Scale in Northern North Korea.

What options does the world have? Can the United States Eisenhower battle group stage a Blockade to prevent the exporting of nuclear weapons? What about sanctions? Well, Japan has already applied sanctions to North Korea so that option is off the table for them. Both Japanese and Chinese leaders and have already warned North Korea not to do the nuclear weapons test and they did anyway.

North Korea is claiming that they did the nuclear weapons test to build up its defense to prevent any US invasion of their nation. This of course is rhetoric; nevertheless North Korea is also claiming that the underground test allowed for no leakage of radioactive material that could cause fallout. Since we know that North Korea and Iran have already met it makes sense that Iran will be the first buyer of these nuclear weapons if North Korea decides to export them. Perhaps we might want to consider all this in 2006.
